Score your ideas, log ten listings and let the tab work out the three signals, open the gate, plan the build, price with every fee on its own line, and date the fourteen-day first-sales sequence. Pick your market and platform and the currency and fees switch.

The kit

The Listing Kit

The title formula and eight worked titles, nine objections mapped to bullets, the seven preview slots, the FAQ and licence line, the delivery message, the refund reply and the review request written to be legal in the UK, the patterns from twelve fields, and the Etsy checklist as a tear-off.

The audiobook, in Izhar's voice

Fourteen tracks that follow the book in order, so the sessions can be heard on the way to work and done at the desk. Read in Izhar's voice through a professional voice model trained on his own recordings, then checked word for word against the book.

How it works

How to create digital products that sell, in seven sessions over three weeks

Six evenings and one build weekend, about sixteen hours, with a gate in the middle you can fail. Fail it and you have lost an idea, not the sprint.

  1. Score three ideas. Four gates, seven criteria, a drop line at 21 of 35. The scorecard tells you what to do first, not what is good.
  2. Find the evidence. Ten listings that already sell, the three signals, the three-star complaint copied word for word. Payment, not interest.
  3. Show it before you build it. One page and three honest people. Three unconfused reactions plus three signals opens the gate.
  4. Build it in a weekend. Four cuts, four passes, the licences and the AI rule, the format your buyer already opens, seven previews.
  5. Price it once. The 18% rule on the real fees, the maths of £1,000, the account opened and verified.
  6. List it. Etsy first, a link you own second, the listing that gets found, the free slice that collects the email.
  7. Run the fortnight. Four demonstrations, five messages, three answers, one review ask, then run it again. Revise once at week eight.
Every content page ends with a Do this now line that names the one thing to write down before you turn the page, and the workbook tab it belongs in.

Inside the workbook

Type your numbers. Read your answer.

Ten tabs, protected so nothing breaks, with the typing cells left open. It ships with example rows (the book's three scored ideas, three listings and a £14 price) so every chart is alive on first open; clear them and type yours. DEMO data (digital) carries the whole worked example: ten listings, three honest people and 72 sales. The EVIDENCE tab works out the three signals and holds the gate. The PRICING tab reproduces the book's sum to the penny and recalculates for your platform.

Before you buy

Who it is for, and what it is not

It is for you if you are

  • Working full time. Two evenings a week and one build weekend, over three weeks.
  • Between jobs. The same seven sessions, run closer together.
  • Outside the UK. US and EU boxes wherever the rules differ.
  • Starting from zero. No audience, no design skill, no ad budget.
  • Already selling. Start at session two.

Worth knowing first

  • It needs time, not money. About sixteen hours and under fifty pounds.
  • It is not passive at first. A new listing needs a fortnight of you.
  • It is not a product list. You find yours in Etsy's own search.
  • It is not a promise of income. Results depend on your work.
  • It is dated on purpose. Every fee carries the day it was read.

I built an e-commerce brand around my job at Jaguar Land Rover, left in August 2025 once it covered my number, and watched it pass £500,000 in sales in its first twelve months. I teach the system, not the leap.

Before it: a factory floor, a lecturing post, a PhD in Engineering, research at Imperial College London, and a specialist role at JLR.

  • August 2025I left the job on a number I had set

Questions

The ones everyone asks

What digital products sell, and which should I make first?

The ones somebody is already paying for. Session one scores three ideas on four gates and seven criteria; session two finds ten listings that already sell and reads the three-star reviews for the gap. The book's worked example is a teacher's term planning tracker at £14. The Listing Kit's patterns list what people in twelve fields already had before they had a product.

How do I sell on Etsy UK as a complete beginner?

Part 0 covers the shop set-up (the one-time fee, the ID check, the bank account, payouts), session five opens the account, session six writes the listing, and the four-page Etsy section shows the tools already inside Shop Manager with real screenshots: search suggestions, Marketplace Insights, search visibility, stats, the listing editor and the checklist to tick before you press Publish.

How much does Etsy take on a digital download?

On a £14 file sold to a UK buyer, about £2.41 once the transaction fee, payment processing on the VAT-inclusive total, the regulatory operating fee, the listing fee and the VAT on those fees are counted, so you keep about £11.59. Page 17 shows six prices side by side, and the PRICING tab recalculates for your price and platform. Every fee carries the date it was read.

Is this passive income?

Not at first. A listing with no history ranks nowhere, so the book schedules a fourteen-day first-sales sequence and tells you to run it at least twice. It makes no claim that a file earns while you sleep, and it is honest about the stretch where most people stop.

I am not in the UK. Does it still work?

Yes. The method is the same anywhere Etsy sells. The worked numbers are UK, and every page where the rule differs has a US box and an EU box: registration, sales tax or VAT on a digital file, the platform fees, consumer rights on downloads, the review rules. Appendix A compares the three side by side, and the workbook's market picker changes the currency and the fee lines.

Do I need an audience, a following or an advertising budget?

No. Strangers find you two ways: marketplace search and short videos of the product working. The book's rooms, the free slice and the fortnight need no following, and Etsy Ads is locked for a new shop's first fifteen days anyway.

Excel or Google Sheets?

Both. The download holds the Excel file, and the Open me first page carries a one-click link that makes your own Google Sheets copy. The same formulas work in both.

Is the audiobook extra?

No. It is a free bonus with the map: fourteen tracks that follow the book in order, plus one complete file for offline listening, in your library as its own item on the day you buy. It is worth £11 when purchased separately, and it comes free with the map.

Is the audiobook the author's real voice?

It is Izhar's voice, read through a professional voice model trained on his own recordings and checked word for word against the book.

How do I get the files, and how do I ask a question?

Straight after checkout you are in your library. Open the "Open me first" page, which takes two minutes, then the book. Nothing is posted. Questions go through the contact link inside your library, and I answer them myself.

One file that a stranger chose to buy is not a small thing.

It is the only thing that has to happen first, and the second one costs you a fraction of the first. The map, the workbook and the kit, with the audiobook free.
