Who it is for
Anyone moving home in the UK: buying, selling and buying, or renting, from a first flat to a family house. Stamp duty is the tax you pay when you buy a home. In Scotland it is called LBTT and in Wales LTT, and the stamp duty tab works out whichever applies to you. If you rent, you can skip that tab.
Questions
Do I need Microsoft Excel?
No. It comes with a Google Sheets version, which is free with a Google account. The Excel file also opens in the free web version of Excel.
How do I get it?
Straight after payment it is in your library on this site: the Excel file, the PDF with the guide and six printable checklists, and the Open me first page with the Google Sheets button.
What if my moving day changes?
Change the date on Settings and every do-by date on the countdown moves with it.
I am renting. Is it still for me?
Yes. The countdown, who to notify, the moving budget and packing by room all work for a rented move. Stamp duty does not apply to you.
Is the stamp duty figure exact?
No. It is an estimate to help you plan, not legal, tax or financial advice. Your solicitor or conveyancer confirms what you pay.

Made by Izhar Shah. I built a brand in the evenings alongside a full-time engineering job, and in its first twelve months it passed £500,000 in sales. I make the sheets I wish I had when I started.
