Why this one

  • Landed cost, not just the invoice priceDelivery, duty and fees on a delivery go into the cost of each unit, and each product's average cost blends every delivery with your opening stock.
  • A date to order byDays of stock left come from what you sold in the last 90 days, and the order-by date allows for each supplier's lead time.
  • A stock take that fixes the numbersAfter a count, each product is your count plus everything in and out since, and the differences are shown at cost.
  • A value for your accountsEach product at the lower of its average cost and what it would sell for less selling costs, the way HMRC's Business Income Manual describes it.
  • Sales, returns and write-offs kept apartOnly sales count towards the speed of sale and your gross margin. Damaged, lost and gifted stock leaves the shelf without a sale.

How it works

  • ProductsEach product once, with its opening stock and cost, selling price, reorder point and reorder quantity
  • Stock in and stock outEach delivery, sale, return or write-off as it happens. Stock on hand updates itself
  • Low stock and reorderOrder what it lists, and count your stock on Stock take and value at least once a year

Who it is for

UK small sellers who hold their own stock: Etsy, eBay, Amazon, TikTok Shop and website shops, market traders and small wholesalers, from 20 products to 500. Landed cost means what one unit really cost you once it reached you: the supplier's price plus delivery, duty and fees. A reorder point is the stock level at which you order more.
